Growing up in an acting family, the life of Renée Estevez has always been wonderfully enriched with artistic and creative influences. Movie sets were her personal playground as a child, lending to her ease and familiarity on set as an actress today. It is this unique upbringing that formed her blend of girl-next-door simplicity with a dramatic edge. It has also given her insightful knowledge and understanding into the modern business of movie making.
In addition to a recurring role on the highly acclaimed NBC T.V. series The West Wing as the character of White House staffer, Nancy, her other recent work includes The Division for the Lifetime Channel and JAG for CBS.
Renée's most recent feature film work has been in the soon to be released "Mercy of the Sea" in which she plays the leading role of Anna, a war torn widow on a journey of hope and forgiveness. On a lighter note, she also stars in the hilarious comedy “Going Down” as the ditsy call-girl Cathy, who becomes entangled in the madness only two teenage boys can create.
With such a diverse range in her acting ability, it comes as no surprise that Renee is applying her talents to the writing and producing realm as well.
